Dr. Ericka Lawler is a fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon. She is board-certified with over 17 years of experience as a dedicated orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgeon. She joined Orthopaedic Specialists after starting her career at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

Dr. Lawler received her undergraduate degree from Yale University before attending medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She went on to complete her orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City before completing a year of subspecialty upper extremity training at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

Dr. Lawler’s expertise covers the spectrum of upper extremity conditions, including arthritis, tendonitis, fracture care, and nerve compression syndromes. She additionally offers care for pediatric patients with hand and upper extremity differences.
