Dr. Cobb to Teach Course on Minimally Invasive Surgical Techniques of the Hand

Tyson_CobbThe Italian Society for Surgery of the Hand will be hosting an exciting educational program this December in Arezzo, Italy. Highlighting advanced surgical techniques of the hand, this intensive three-day course will feature lectures presented by an international assemblage of the leading experts in hand surgery, and we are proud to announce Dr. Tyson Cobb, our own Director of Hand and Upper Extremity Center, has been invited to join the faculty. In his duties as an instructor he will offer insight into minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures within the small joints of the hand.

Dr. Cobb is honored to be able to contribute his expertise on this topic, and he looks forward to working alongside some of the most notable names in the industry while also helping to educate other surgeons in the innovative approaches now available. In addition to lecturing, Dr. Cobb will provide guidance as a lab instructor during the program’s hands-on component, which allows surgeons an opportunity to practice the new techniques discussed during the course. This advanced program will take place from December 11th until December 13th, and the lectures will include topics on ligaments, tendons, and fractures, as well as Dr. Cobb’s innovative arthroscopic method.

Dr. Cobb recognizes that these extended training courses are an excellent opportunity to explore the latest advances in hand surgery and remain up-to-date on the newest, most effective treatments. He hopes that his contribution will help future patients receive the best care possible.
