Orthopaedic Specialists’ Centers of Excellence are intensely focused areas of specialization inside the greater orthopaedic practice. Foot and Ankle Center
Orthopaedic Specialists offers the community advanced options for surgical and non-surgical treatment for disorders and injuries to the lower extremity and foot and ankle. The Foot and Ankle Center of Excellence is also able to provide reconstruction of complex ankle and foot fractures and injuries. Podiatry services have recently been added.
Hand and Upper Extremity Center
When everyday tasks become difficult to do because of hand pain, patients turn to the Hand and Upper Extremity Center at Orthopaedic Specialists, PC. The center offers arthrosocopic and endoscopic procedures and alternatives to fusion. The procedures are performed using minimally invasive techniques which allow them to be performed through small portals, eliminating the need for large incisions and little to no scarring.
Spine Center
The Spine Center at Orthopaedic Specialists is a regional center of excellence for back and neck problems. Using the latest developments in minimally-invasive, surgical techniques, the center allows patients to forego long stays in hospitals or extended time off from work.
Sports Medicine Center
The Sports Medicine Center at Orthopaedic Specialists is busy keeping area athletes in the game. When you want to regain the function and ability you feared was gone forever or ensure the best possible recovery from a sports injury, the OS Sports Medicine Center is what you need. The physicians of the center also serve as team doctors for area colleges and high schools.
Total Joint Replacement Center
Orthopaedic Specialist’s Total Joint Replacement Center offers minimally-invasive knee and hip replacement surgeries. The focus on joint replacement techniques and technology allow the doctors of OS to provide patients with the very best care and put them on the road to recovery quickly and safely. As the only facility in the state with the ability to perform outpatient replacements, patients are able to be back home within 24 hours of surgery, recovering in familiar surroundings instead of spending days in the hospital.
