Dr. Wilber, board certified podiatrist by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, joined the Foot and Ankle Center at Orthopaedic Specialists in January of 2009. After being in private practice for over 12 years, he wanted to offer his wealth of experience to a wider patient base and has been successful in doing so working with Dr. Mendel.

As one of only two podiatric certified wound specialists in the Quad Cities, Dr. Wilber brings a wealth of knowledge that has allowed us to expand our care to a broader base of diabetic patients.

Dr. Wilber graduated from Des Moines University and has been certified in wound care since 2007. He is a fellow in the both the American College of Certified Wound Specialists and the American Professional Wound Care Association.

In addition to wound care, Dr. Wilber also manufactures custom orthotics to assist in the treatment of foot problems.
